Students are prepared for official diplomas recognized in several countries, in French, English, German or even bilingual, from the age of 1 up to Bachelor and Master levels.<\/p><p>Working in Geneva and its border area (Bassin Genevois and Pays de Gex) to Annecy, STONE&amp;WOOD presents below some international and bilingual schools on these geographic areas:<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>International School of Geneva (ECOLINT)<br \/><\/strong><em>Geneva (Ch\u00eane-Bougeries), Founex and Grand-Saconnex \u2013 SWITZERLAND<\/em><\/p><p>Founded in 1924 by civils servants from the ILO and the League of Nations (the precursor to the UN), Ecolint is presented as being the world\u2019s first ever international school and the most diverse in the world with 140 nationalities and 80 mother tongues. It is a cosmopolitan establishment that welcomes approximately 220 students of different nationalities (up to 25 per year) from 9 to 18 years old.<\/p><p>A personalized supervision with reduced-size classes and the mastery of foreign languages are priorities at this school. It is a Catholic establishment but open to all faiths, French-speaking and internationally oriented. It welcomes students from nursery school through secondary education, aged 3 to 19, prepating them for major certifications,including the International Baccalaureate (IB), IGCSE, the Swiss Maturit\u00e9 and French Baccalaureate. The school has an incredible diversity of curricula and subjects taught as well as a bilingual curriculum from kindergarten. The school provides a choice of the International Baccalaureate, Swiss Maturit\u00e9, French Baccalaur\u00e9at and American diplomas. Both have international sections (English, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch). In 2018, opening of the 6\u00e8me (equivalent to Year 7 in the U.K) was the start of the lower Secondary school or Coll\u00e8ge which open new grades every year.<\/p><p>First bilingual school in the area of Annecy with the goal of teaching English from an early age, its enrollment has continued to grow since its creation and confirms the growing success of this type of school.
